1999 Season

The 1999 Season Scott drove for Larry & Janet Dipietro in the #11 Pro Stock. Scott put on quite a show. He finished in the top ten most of his races at Wiscasset Raceway. His best finish was third place that year.  He also raced three NEPSA races there,  finishing in the top twenty.  He tried to qualify for the Oxford 250 his Rookie Year. Scott was running in the top three when the distributor cap exploded and put him out of the qualifying heat.  In the disqualifiers race he crashed in an eight- car pile-up. Needless to say we didn’t make it! Scott finished the season in eighth place, and got Pro Stock Rookie of the year at Wiscasset Raceway.

Larry & Janet Dipietro were proud of their Rookie Driver, Scott King.  Larry Jr. is now the driver for his Dad.

Little Larry,  the King Family wishes you well.  GOOD LUCK!

Scott’s first Pro Stock Heat Win.

Scott’s only Trophy in 1999.

3rd Place

His Rookie Season in the Pro Stocks

Believe it or not, Scott in the #11 missed this whole mess.  He had to make use of the Pit Road to do so. This was during his third Pro Stock race.
